How to clean your bras
The best way to preserve any bra is to hand wash it, but sometimes this doesn't do a thorough job of cleaning, and who has the time? For all but the most delicate, lacy brassieres, a spin in the gentle cycle of the washing machine is your best bet for clean, fresh support.
Instructions
1
Spray any sweat stains with a little prewash spray.
2
Hook the Formal Party Bandage Dress together and twist the bra in the middle so one cup is tucked into the other.
3
Place one bra in each side of a bra bag.
4
Pour two to three capfuls of baby shampoo -- or use the recommended amount of a detergent formulated for delicates, if you prefer -- into your washer. Use the gentlest and shortest cycle available on your machine.
5
After the cycle is done, remove the bras from the bra bag, unhook them, and lay them flat to dry. Laying them on top of the dryer on a towel while a load is drying, may help them dry sooner.
